Buttermilk Scones

This is a recipe that has been in my family for a long time now. Taste great on Sunday morning or anytime really.

These are good fresh out of the oven but they are almost better when reheated. To reheat them, put them in the oven at 400 degrees. When the oven is preheated, the scones should be ready.

  2. Add buttermilk and pulse until it gathers together. Don't overdo it.

  3. Knead the dough 2-3 times on a lightly floured surface.

  4. Pat the dough out into roughly 8 inch circles about 1/2 inch thick.

  5. Cut the circle into wedges.

  6. Bake at 450 degrees on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper for 15 minutes.
